Client Overview
The Australian Medical Association of Queensland is the State’s peak medical representative body and represents more than 5,670 Queensland doctors. Nationally, the Australian Medical Association represents over 27,000 doctors, ranging from residents and registrars through to public and private specialists and general practitioners.

The Challenge
The AMA Queensland required a complete website re-design of www.amaq.com.au and the creation of two new sites; AMAQ Foundation and the AMA Health and Lifestyle Expo. AMA Queensland wanted to maintain all 3 websites from the one location quickly and easily.

The Result
AMA Queensland and imagin8 worked closely to develop the creative and strategic vision for all three sites then aligned them with the functional requirements, delivering three uniquely branded websites. The websites feature secure member registration with credit card payment capability, dynamic news feeds, discussion forums and self maintaining menus.

In imagin8 Content Management System, the AMA has found a tool which supports their goal of "providing an accurate, credible, and representative voice for medicine in Queensland" by publishing media releases and facilitating quick updates through its distributed authoring system. iCMS’s multiple site control feature greatly facilitates the administration of all three sites.

imagin8 has used the web to serve the needs of AMA’s diverse audience and iCMS has helped AMA Queensland to achieve its web strategy.
